Great food, but as most reviews have stated, the service was extremely slow. We had a group of 8, which I know larger groups can be difficult, but our food was brought out at different times. A couple at our table got food about 15 minutes after everyone else. Every 5 to 8 minutes a couple of plates were brought out. Some were finished eating before the final plates were brought out. Now... despite the slowness, the food was great and I will go back. I'll just make sure to have lots of time.

Two friends and I came tonight (Monday) for dinner. We were the only table in the restaurant so I was expecting attentive service. We were promptly seated but the server disappeared for about 5 minutes before she took our drink order. I ended up ordering Spicy Noodles with chicken, my friends ordered Crab Fried Rice and Massaman Beef. Thirty minutes later the salads were delivered and were very skimpy. It took another 20 minutes for my entree to arrive. Another 5 after that for my friends' entrees to arrive. The food was delicious. Two of us ran out of drinks and with having spicy food was not a good thing. The service and speed was horrible. If it was busy I would have expected some delay. But if they have trouble with one table with three diners, I would hate to see what would happen if all the tables were full.

Not the best Thai I've ever had, far from the worst. The space is very pleasant. I think it was a house at one time. Service was prompt and friendly. My only gripe is that my dish, despite requesting "2 out of 10" on the Spicy scale, was still too damned spicy. Fortunately they kept me supplied with water. I'm sure fans of the hot stuff will love it here. For me, not planning to return.

Thai Thai has the best Thai food in the city. The service is a little slow but the outcome is well worth it. The restaurant is very beautiful and is a casual setting. I have been going to Thai Thai for years and the food has always been amazing. I would always recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Asian food.

Literally the best, most unique restaurant in Bowling Green!! I love the ginger chicken. The chef is a prodigy. Since there is only one chef, the food takes a little longer BUT WELL WORTH THE WAIT. it is consistently delicious and a great place to go to eat with a group of friends.

It's food is very spicy for most people so be sure to get a 0 or 1 on there scale of spiciness. The price is ok the one bad thing is there is only one cook so it take a while for them to cook it but she is an amazing cook so it's worth the wait. Best Thai food in Bowling Green.

I have been here four times and the food is excellent and I am a picky eater. My husband calls me Sally from "When Harry met Sally." Anyway, as the other reviews have mentioned the service is slow due to the fact they don't have adequate staff, so be willing to wait. Also when choosing the heat anything above 4 or 5 is going to be really hot. My husband is from southern AR/LA area and puts hot sauce on everything and the first time he got an 8 and almost couldn't eat his meal ;-) Update 1/13/12 I have been to Thai Thai several times now and the food is consistently good and I'm happy to report that the service has improved as well.

Went to go see a friend of ours in Bowling Green Brandon, on our way out of Bowling Green, my girlfriend Toey was starving for Thai food. So I YELP it and came up with Thai Thai, which had the best reviews and they were right. So my girlfriend ordered for us since she was Thai. She ordered some type of beef salad which was great, tasted a lot of basil, which is my favorite. Chicken Pad Thai, the sauce was flavorful and wet pad Thai. I like it runny. The fish cake appetizer was great. Overall when we come back to Bowling Green we're make a special trip to eat here again. By the way the two daughter of the owners, did a great job on service. Thanks again

Really good thai food, if you are up for a spicy pad thai or fried rice. I had both of them with a spice level 7 out of 10. Darn hot indeed but equally delicious. Though the restaurant was a bit skimpy on the serve size and they charged 20% service fee over the dish prices without asking anything. Well it might be a bowling green, Kentucky thing. If you are a 'spicoholic' like me, I definitely recommend this place for you palate.

Im a sophmore at wku and ate here for the first time yesterday on a date, and I wish I'd found this place sooner! Oh my gosh. I got the cashew plate, with a spicy-ness of one. It was AMAZING. I'm here again today with my parents, there's so much more I want to try on the menu! Awesome atmosphere too, though I really wish they played more traditional music.

OMG SO GROSS. I have been here three times. Every time, my food has taken forever to arrive, and been terrible. The last straw was the crab fried rice that had rotten-tasting crab and shells in in. I think the crab was from a can. Never again. Go to Siam Thai, it's absolutely delicious and less expensive.

For Bowling Green, this new Thai restaurant is fantastic! Food and decor is excellent. I give 4 stars because they are still working out some of the kinks. But I am hopeful. The food is quite authentic. Do be warned that the spice rating (on a scale of 1-10) is skewed high. I wanted medium spice and ordered a 5. Next time I will order a 3 on the scale. The food is excellent and the decor really looks great. The service is evolving. Our first trip (a week after opening), the chef was training her kitchen staff. It took more than an hour for everyone at our table to receive their orders. The second time we went, only the head chef was working (did she fire her staff and start over?). Whatever the reason, Bowling Green NEEDS this restaurant. It is a welcome departure from the chain establishments in town. Great food, charming atmosphere. Let's hope they work out the kinks.

To celebrate my brother's birthday, we chose Thai Thai. When I called to confirm our reservation for 15, I was asked if I'd like to order some food then. Turns out they only have 1 cook, and she was concerned that he would be overwhelmed. This was a flag. We arrived and were shown to our table for 15. We were greeted and drink orders were delivered. Our orders were then taken, and then our meals were delivered. All within an acceptable time-frame. The food was fresh, hot and tasty with the appropriate heat ordered. We were all pleased and happy with our meals and service. Separate checks could not be done, so checking out at the end of the night took some time, but was relatively quickly. Definitely good and tasty and will come back time and again!

I was on vacation from So Cal and was driving to Louisville coming back from Nashville. The last thing my wife and I wanted was fast food. Luckily we had GPS. Thai is my favorite food and I was surprised Garmin came up with a Thai place not too far from the highway. Luckily my wife wanted to check Yelp and so we found Thai Thai about 3.5 miles from the highway. Despite the reviews, I was not expecting much as the restaurant was off by itself. Wow were my instincts wrong. The food was absolutely fantastic and I've eaten a lot of Thai. Thai is not complicated but I believe is driven by using just the right mixture of spices and fresh ones at that. Not a chef myself so I'm speculating. Anyhow, just fantastic. We split a cashew chicken and a curry and they were mouthwatering. Service was great`. Not sure if it has improved since other reviews or just that we were there right at opening time. My wife loved the decor and it was nice and not the tacky kind one often finds in a Thai restaurant. This is the first review in three years I've written so that shows how strongly I recommend this place.

Hate to say this but I am never going back again. Used to like this place a lot. Ate there yesterday and became sick. OLD REVIEW: Great, relatively inexpensive food. By far the best Thai in bg. Royal Thai does not come close. I had curry - it was good and spicy. There is a dish with eggplant ( it's not soupy like curry, more like a stir fry with just a little sauce) and Thai basil - it was great too. Service could use some improvement but they are learning. If you like ethnic food, definitely give it a try.

Visited my girlfriend's family who lives in Bowling Green, and this is where we decided to go for dinner. Being from Chicago, I am no stranger to Thai food, so I thought hey, what the heck, let's try it out! When we arrived, we were seated and informed that there are people ahead of us, and the wait would be 30 mins. I come from a place where its expected to take at least 30 mins to get your food, so we agreed. Much to our surprise, a minute or two later, our waiter came back and took our drink and food order. Drinks arrived promptly, so any concerns about service were moot, especially when I saw their beer prices. At $3/bottle for a Blue Moon, these were MUCH cheaper than I am used to(In Chicago, soft drinks are $3 at restaurants!). Menu was pretty standard, and I ended up ordering the See-Ew with Chicken. Here at Thai Thai, they ask you to rate your desired spiciness from 1-5. Liking a little bit of kick, I made the mistake of ordering a 5. Let me tell you, this scale is certainly not the gringo scale of hotness! WOOWEE! Did my taste buds ever hate me! This was one of the HOTTEST dishes I have ever ordered. EVERYONE at the table was struggling to finish our plates. The food was good, but DEAR LORD was it hot! Like PAINFUL hot! Next time, I would be hesitant to get a 1 on the hotness scale - it was THAT hot. Luckily the waiter saw our pain and ended up making sure our pitcher of water was always full. Even my gf's brother made the comment "I am leaving here with my hat in hand". While I cant comment on Thai Thai in comparison to Bowling Green's other offerings, I can say that I would go back. Good service, decent prices and plenty of spice make this restaurant worth checking out. Just be careful how you order! EDIT: One thing worth nothing about Thai Thai: While their food is HOTT, they don't appear to include the pepper seeds in their seasoning. This is a very good thing. I frequently get severe GI issues when I eat spicy foods. I had no issues with Thai Thai. I surmise its the seeds that irritate the mucous membranes of the digestive system. Without these, one can eat very spicy foods and notice no issues the next day.

We returned at the behest of good friends and had a much better experience. My entree was very good and service time was reasonable. We will most likely return.

Excellent!! Service is sometimes slow, but well worth the wait. Watch out for the spice scale. 1 means 4, 3 means 8, you get the point.

When I arrived at Thai Thai I thought the little house was cute, but there were only three cars in the lot (at 5:30 on a Tuesday) so I almost thought it was closed. But when I came in, someone eventually found me at the door and sat me in a room all by myself. I looked at the menu, made all of my hard decisions about what to order, and then continued to sit there for about fifteen minutes before anyone came to take my drink order. But the waitress was apologetic, and after that incident of being forgotten she was very prompt with everything. The thai iced tea was great, but I wish they'd had an option for boba. I got the Thai Thai rolls which were delicious. I also got the pineapple fried rice which was everything I wanted and more. I asked for it with no chicken or shrimp, and the waitress asked if I wanted tofu (which I didn't know was an option) so I added that for no cost. She was also thoughtful to ask if I still wanted the egg, which I appreciated. I wished there were more clearly stated vegetarian options. I've seen many places give an option of what protein they want to add -- chicken, shrimp, or tofu, instead of creating the hassle of asking for substitutions. It's a minor detail though that I don't mind too much. Even though my experience didn't start out great, I was so very happy at the end. I had a serious craving for the kind of Thai food I had in California, and Thai Thai definitely satisfied it.

HORRIBLE, SLOW SERVICE! I went to Thai Thai with a friend about an hour and 15 minutes before a show we were going to a couple blocks over at the SkyPac. We sat down and ordered some beers and our food. Our server was extremely slow and took about 10 minutes to get our beers out to us. We waited and waited for our food to come. We finished our first round of beers and were going to order more. We waited for our server to come back to the table, but she never even came to check on us. We had to call her over to even order a second round. After about an hour of being there, we still had no food. We couldn't wait any longer because our show was about to start. We had to tell our waitress to cancel our orders, but once again, she was no where to be found. I actually had to get up out of my seat and walk around the restaurant to even find anyone at all (let alone our own waitress) and tell them we had to go. They seemed extremely confused by this, and we still had to pay for the beers, even though we had received no food at all in over an hour of waiting. I will definitely not be back. The service is way too slow. I don't even know how their food is, but after my first experience, I'm not even going to give it a second change. Siam Thai is way better.

I give Thai Thai five stars on food and one star on service. The menu items they have are as good as Thai places I've been to in NYC, Chicago, or LA and my husband the world-traveler tells me the food is as close you get to Thai "home-cooking," as it gets without actually going to Thailand. So for that, Thai Thai earns a big nod from me. BUT... Don't ever go there if you're in a hurry. Wait times for food every time we have been are in excess of an hour and the service is very inattentive. We even tried going at an off peak time and there was a family in one of the rooms eating family-style that the owners clearly knew personally and had given priority while the three other tables in the restaurant each sat with no food, no drink refills and no explanation as to what was taking so long. Today, after waiting an hour and 15 minutes, my husband actually got up and walked around the building to find someone to see what was going on. He ended up in the kitchen, where he said there was one person cooking. And it seemed there was only one person serving as well. It's really unfortunate, because Bowling Green really has a shortage of good international cuisine and we had such high hopes for Thai Thai. We left without our food today and will probably never go back because the service and wait times are just so bad. If you have time to kill, take a good book and enjoy the food. Thai iced tea was awesome. Too bad I didn't get my curry today. :(

Fresh, delicious Thai with a huge menu. I lived next to a Thai settlement in Chicago and didn't eat this well. Prices are very reasonable, and they've done the place up Thai-style gorgeously. Great for lunch, though not for a very fast lunch.

Outstanding Thai food. Truly outstanding. The service however can be horrible. The owners son works there as a server and he is honestly the worst server I have ever seen anywhere. I am now well aquatinted with where the water pitcher is and where to go to get condiments and where to take my dishes so they don't litter the table when I'm wanting desert. They know how to make food spicy and still keep it tasting very good. I like spice level 10, but that is probably WAAAAY too hot for the vast majority of people, my wife enjoys spicy food quite a bit and it's well heated at a 4. There are a couple of girls there who are good servers, the tall skinny one with short hair and glasses is very good. From now on if the owners son is our server we will eat elsewhere.

Great meal at Thai Thai. Both the meat eaters and vegetarians at our table loved it. Attentive server and unique decor. We will be back.
